Winter Jam!

So I am very excited because tonight is the Winter Jam concert at the Century Tel Center. It's a huge concert compiled of about 10 different Christian artists. All different styles of Christian music will be played, from hard rock to pop. I have gone in years past and it's alot of fun. If anyone is interested, it starts at 7pm tonight and it's only $10 to get in. And dont decide not to go just because it's a Christian concert and you think it's going to be boring. I've gone to many non-Christian concerts when I was younger and Winter Jam is by far just as entertaining. Just let it surprise you!

  2. How was the concert? Did a lot of people show up? Also, which church sponsored it? And which church do you attend? I would have loved to have gone but unfortunately I'm just now reading your blog so I'm a day late!!! Ugghhh, well maybe next time?

  3. To answer your questions EC, The concert was amazing! There was over 13,000 people there, it was the most packed I have ever seen it. Actually a church didn't sponsor it, it's just like any other music tour. I attend FBC-Haughton but I also do alot of stuff with Shreveport Community Church. You?

  4. The last "concert" I went to was on Feb. 19 at Fairfield Studios. I saw a musician I've loved since the '70s--Jesse Winchester. Only 120 people, just the kind of concert I like.

  5. I was wondering what that concert was when I saw it on the sign the other day. Were there any known Christian artists there or was it more local? I wish I would've done my research so I would've went.

  6. There were some pretty well known artists there like the Newsboys, David Crowder Band, Franchesca Batastelli, Red, Chris August, Sidewalk Prophets, and one or two other bands I believe. It was great! They come every year with new artists so you'll have another chance.

  7. My daughter went to Winter Jam with some of her friends and loved it! I wished that I could have attended but I had to work. I am glad that you mentioned this because it was awesome, from what my daughter says.
